Carrie is a Licensed Massage Therapist that graduated from the Augusta School of Massage. The daughter of a physical therapist, Carrie grew up near the Gulf Coast and eventually followed in her mother’s footsteps to treat tricky cases of chronic pain.

After school, she worked in several local massage businesses while pursuing further certifications in Medical Massage, Deep-Tissue, Oncology, Pre/Post-Natal, Lymphatic, Medical Cupping and more. When she realized her books were getting too full to devote time to the cases and clients she was passionate about, Blue Bird Bodywork was born!

Carrie deeply loves her husband, mother, and friends. As a chronic pain patient herself, she loves a quiet night in with creature comforts. She’ll happily trade pet pictures, podcast recommendations, or her latest research.
